Who we are
ProofBench ("we", "us") provides an idea-validation tool at proofben.ch that lets founders publish test landing pages and measure real interest. This policy explains what personal data we process and why.
Data we collect
- Account data — the email address (and, if you use Google sign-in, your name and profile picture) used to authenticate you.
- Payment data — processed by Stripe. We never see or store your full card details; we keep a Stripe customer reference and your plan status.
- Your content — the proof pages you create (headlines, copy, images, settings).
- Visitor sign-ups — emails that visitors submit on your published proof pages. You are the controller of those emails; we process them on your behalf so you can see your signal.
- Usage events — page views and button clicks on proof pages, used to compute conversion and intent rates.
- Essential cookies — used to keep you signed in.
How we use it
To run and secure your account, provide the service, process payments, compute the metrics you rely on, and contact you about your account. We do not sell your personal data.
Processors we rely on
- Supabase — authentication and database hosting.
- Stripe — payment processing.
- Vercel — application hosting and delivery.
Retention
We keep your data while your account is active. Delete a proof to remove its content and collected sign-ups, or contact us to close your account and erase your personal data, subject to legal retention obligations (e.g. payment records).
Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, export or delete your personal data, and to object to or restrict certain processing. To exercise any of these, email joffrey@proofben.ch.
Changes
We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by the "last updated" date above.
